Where can I check my engine to make sure its numbers match that of my VIN.
It's a 327/210hp motor by the way. Am I correct in assuming the last x number of digits of my vin should be stamped on the block somewhere?

Depends on what year. 67 no, 68 and 69 yes. 68s will be on the pad infront of the passenger side head, 69 will either be in the same place, or on the side of the block above the oil filter depending on which plant and when it was made.
