So hello hello,
Im finally at the point where i need to get my childhood dream car, one of the first gens. Seems like over these past years all they have done is gone up in price so i figure its time before they get out into prices where i need to actually finance to get one. So i have some idea what i want to spend, but not really what i should buy, more or less why i came here for some answers. I do know i want a driver, not a show car, so i imagine that a non matching #'s car would be best for my first one, but if thats not the case i would like to hear suggestions otherwise. Now im guessing the difference between the years is more or less small changes and preference for the years is of the small style changes?
Also, while a convert doesnt sound like something i want be getting but if one shows up in good condition and a nice price i would consider. Now my question for converts is what kind of maintence is normal, and if the total top needs to be replaced how much and how much of a pain is that?
Thanks in advance.
Thomas
