I have a 67 350 RS/SS convert.

1) Wondering about the alt bracket. I know one I have now is after market, does true look like abit of a triangle, curved on bolt adjust end. Where it bolts to motor the top hole is offset from the bottom hole?
Can't post pics so hope that describes it well enuff.

2) Did the windshield washer bottle cap have words on it (windshield fluid only...)

3) The Quad carb? I have seen some that list for 396 motors, will they work on my 350. Does it matter if the 3rd # is a 3 (Canadian car)
7037203 my car is of course a 4 spd. What is A.I.R??

Welcome coast car. Lots of questions in there. Many members are much better at answering these questions than I am. The 7037203 QJet is for a 67 327 or 350 standard trans with AIR. AIR is the smog equipment put on California cars. Check the CRG web site for more on this. http://www.camaros.org/index.shtml

You can find the alternator bracked in the parts catalogs, like Rick's, Year One or our sponsor SS396.

Use the search function on these forums. If no one else jumps in here you may find what you want simply by searching since most of this has already been discussed.

The triangle top bracket bolted to a boss on the intake and the bottom bolted to a studded hex bolt on the top od ther water pump - only if stock exhaust manifolds are on the engine.

If headers are installed, the two supplied(?) brackets on #1 cylinder tube lifted the alt up and caused the water pump bolt not to fit. Hence, the water pump bolt had to exchanged for a regular hex head bolt of the same thread and length, then the OE bracket would work, just bolted to the intake and alt adjustment bolt.

Washer bottle cap is plain, no text.
