HI, I'm looking at a 67 on eBay and I'm sure the rear axle isn't original, but what is it from ?? Anything else obviously not correct with this "#'s matching" car ?

Can't answer your original question but - I love the car, however, if it were mine I'd get rid of the pink heater hoses in a hurry. Those are obviously not the original interior door panels (who cares, right?) The repops always look too 'puffy'. Headliner has a few issues too. Driver's seat looks like it is begging for someone with less displacement to be the next owner. Still, I'd be happy to be the proud owner of that car.

Looks like it's fairly close to orginal. You're right about the rearend. The multi-leaf springs highlighted that point and no radius rod. The rear is probably just a standard 10 bolt out of a 68 or 69. Have the seller list the numbers for the rear so you know for sure.
I'm pretty sure the rear spoiler is an add on because of the rear antenna option. It's a nice looking car but I'd be concerned with the condition of the body looking at the rust on the floor pans and sub frame. If you're able to, take a look at in person or have someone else check it out for you.

Everything I've read on here, and elsewhere, indicate it should be a 12 bolt rear too. I don't mind if the rear spoiler is an add-on, as I would put one on, if it didn't have one already. Non original engine and axle.....what's left to "numbers match"? Who knows if the trans is original. I don't mind if it isn't a #'s matching car, but I won't pay a matching price for a non matching car.
I appreciate the responses so far.
