HI im going to sell my 26 inch tall 275/50/15 nitto drag radials dont think they will hook up
MY proplem is will i be overgeared what u guys think? Going to 28 inch drag radial tyre
THIS is my combo 3750 lbs zz454 airgap comp roller 535 flywheel hp at 5800 rpm,560ftlbs 4000 rpm ,3000 11 inch stall th400 ,3.42 gears
Also 150hp zex plate system
What revs would u expect me to be going over the line at ,with 650 + plus hp will my 60ft ,times be slow with those 3.42 gears and me revs be to low going over the line , yes i know should have put 3.7 gears in when rebuilt diff ,but dont want to many revs on highway ,my idea was the big block tourqe on nitrous should make very little diff to strip performance ?
Can anyone give me any ideas or thoughts
thanks victtor

I wouldn't call it "overgeared". Switching from a 26" tall tire to a 28" tire, should be like using about 3.08 gears. Use the calculators at http://www.wallaceracing.com/Calculators.htm to figure it out exactly.

It's worth a try. With the low end of a BB on spray you should be ok.

I went from a 26" tire to a 28" with 3.00 rear gears, and a small block, but my 5 speed has a lower 1st. I've switched to 3.25 gears since, 60' foots were better with the 3.00. ---Bill.
