I was watching DIY's "Classic Car Restoration" episode (1962 Ford Thunderbird: Finishing Touches - Episode DCR-309) the other day. In the episode, they were installing undercover speakers which mount underneath each seat. Each enclosure contains one 5½" woofer (facing up) and twin piezo tweeters (one faces to the rear and the other to the front).
I found the link to their site:

The speakers mentioned above (5½" woofer) cost ~$120 for the pair - and measure 3" high X 8-1/4" wide X 11-1/4" long. They sell another pair that includes 8" woofers as well - and measure 11"W x 12.5"D x 3"H.
1) Has anyone installed these before?
2) How do they sound?
3) Were they easy to install?
4) Would the other 8" woofer enclosure fit underneath a first gen Camaro seat?
Sounds like an alternative for rear speakers without cutting the interior or settling for the muffled sound with the top down with the rear speaker housings.
(In the episode they also installed a hidden receiver inside dash (that mounted to the regular radio via velcro) that is controlled by remote - with CD changer in trunk).
