Any problems with using an arc welder to weld in subframe connectors?

All the threads seem to be MIG only, so it got me wondering why no one posted on plain old arc welding.

Mine were arc welded when I bought the car. The only aspect I noticed was that the welds are not as clean looking. I would think that an experienced person will get good weld penetration in either method.

i have seen welds done by professional welders with arc welders. the welds looked as good as a weld done with a mig welder.
