My 69 Camaro right now is running a 1967 Camaro 210 horse 2 barrel with powerglide 327.

I'm looking to up my power for next year and because it's non origional to my car I was thinking about selling it and replacing it with a more modern 350.

I was wondering if it was of any value to anyone with a 67. It is presently installed and running in the car. I have the 2 barrel intake but it is not on the motor.

Here are the block specs!
Front pad = V1215ME
Date code = L136
cast # 3892657
It has no VIN # stamp on the pad or by the filter

I sold my short block that needed to be freshened for $350 (I thought it was a MA block, but not sure). I've seen good running ones around $1000-1500 if a guy wants it to match his 67. One is for sale locally for $1800 with a Muncie trans. I think the price may differ depending on the journal size also, but I can't remember which is better (large or small) or what models have which.

I will look into seeing if it has the large or small journals

Hi,

In that casting (3892657) a ME suffix stands for a small journal 327/ Auto trans.

In the same castings, the MS, MT, MU, and MV blocks were large journal and were 350's. GM just opened up the main journal on these to fit the larger 350 crank. These blocks were the L48 350's and were only used in the 67 Camaro SS. The 350 blocks are a lot rarer and cost more....
