sorry,i've asked this b4 but, i forgot to write it down .on a mid 70's 350 with a factory 750 q -jet carb, i'm looking for the factory size jets .i'm wondering if there was a hi altitude carb(jet size), since i'm in denver, or were there the same jets for certain hp motors ,and just different metering rods and hangers  ?this thing has a remanufactured carb that, although starts and idles well ,and choke works, etc, it runs pig rich during cruise or highway driving  .this thing gets barely 8mpg .now that i'm finally slowing down for a couple of weeks i can finally get to work this thing and get it figured out so i can afford gas ,and b4 i get busy again :clonk: .its basicallly a stock 350 with headers, a performer intake, and a very, very mild hyd roller cam(210 at 050-490" lift)wondering if anyone has starting point that might work with jets ,hangers, and metering rod numbers and what type of mileage are you pulling down with your cars?i'm hoping with the jetting figured out, and with adjusting secondary air door tighter ,so as not to use secondaries unless i'm really into throttle, along with a really good ignition tune and distributor recurve, i might pick up enuff to get into low teens in mileage:hurray:i'm not in any way concerned with performance just mileage! car weighs 4000 pds or so with 4.10 gear and th350 w stock converter . thanks

If you can provide the number off the side of the carb, I can tell you what it came on originally and what jets, rods, sec rods and hanger it came with stock. I believe it should start with 170........
