I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the hands from an indash clock. I hope this is in the correct forum, please move it if it's not.
Thanks, Greg

I used a mini screwdriver and gently pushed up under the top hand first,up against the shaft, going around it in a circle until its finally off, then repeat on the lower hand. They press back on gently as well. :) maizedog Nov 3rd, 06, 02:07 AM Thanks Click, I was trying that but wanted to check before I tugged any harder. I guess after 37 years I shouldn't expect it to pop right off. Thanks, Greg Fred Ficarra Nov 4th, 06, 04:47 PM I've got my clock in the spare parts box since 1980. Put a volt meter there. Much better than a clock. IMHO. And the hands should slide off easily. The clock is made with quality brass stuff. |
