I just got done shooting the 69 in Garnet red tonight smile.gif it came out nice with no runs, but it doesn't look as dark as most garnet red cars I've seen...I'm using a Martin Senour acrylic enamel. I am going to shoot the hood, trunk lid, cowl panel, and spoiler tomorrow am. Then I plan on putting on the stencil kit and shooting coach black Z stripes on Sunday and clear coating after that. Now to the question...should I clear the car first, then shoot stripes then clear again, or shoot stripes, clear and then cut and buff, or which method would work best for this procedure? Thanks for the help. I'm getting mixed advice from the paint reps, and they gave me the wrong product sheet, AND they are closed this saturday and sunday  If I was supposed to shoot the clear right after the color, then I may have to color sand after striping....
