Any one know if you can run a 355 rear tire useing DSE Mini tubs? Will the 2.75 inches these widen the wells be enough. Or would it be better to go another inch wider when tubing.

Most i ever heard was 345's stuffed in on an 12.5" wide wheel.

I believe that the suggested max is 335s on 12s and I think at that size the backspacing needs to center the tire in the wheel well perfect if you plan to really drive the car (meaning over bumps, curb cuts, and with a load in it). Call DSE and ask - they are very customer service oriented and just plan nice.

It would be a squeeze, the 355 / 19s are 1/2" wider then 345s, 14.1 compared to 13.6 sections, so it will be tight, but if you push the tubs in a bit, and get everything just perfect, it should work, but you may rub in extreme situations

I run 335 - 35 - 17s in my 69 conv. I did the tubbing myself, not with aftermarket tubs. I have them on 11 " rims and work fine.

I agree with Frank! It would have to be really perfect and the tubs would need to be cheated a bit. If you don't already have the wheels, Go 18"/345 and you won't ever have to worry!
