I have a 69 SS with the rear mounted antenan option. What do you guys suggest I replace it with. Factory style manual antenna or a power antenna?

Put the orginal away and go for the power unit

Thanks guys. Any suggestions on the power antenna? Are they all the same or are some better than others?

I just got a semi-automatci at autozone for $50. Hooking it up now. If your interested I can let you know how it ends up and how to hook it up.
