finally got to the track today with this car and motor set up ( I haven't raced for over thirty years).
first pass - 16.64, 98mph with a 60' of 3.02
second pass - 17.08, 93mph with a 60" of 2.63
third pass - 14.12, 101mph with a 60' 0f 2.16
fourth pass - 12.90, 108mph with a 60' of 2.15
was going for my fifth pass when the water pump gasket failed. all these runs were with street tires and foot braking. first two passes I left the trans in drive, third I shifted through the gears at 4000rpm, fourth I shifted at 5000rpm, went through the lights at 5200rpm, still had a lot left in it. will try again when I get the gasket replaced.
