HI what is the brand name of this big block fuel pump it has 3/8 hose fittings on it,what GPH rating are these pumps ?
I have been useing this pump on my zz454 535hp 5800rmp have checked airfuel ratio its fine full throttle in top gear ,does not lay down at all
Do i just stick with this stock looking mec pump with 3/8 line me carb is 750dp proform centre body
I thought these stock looking pumps would be junk and not flow enough for this powerplant any u guys ever used these pumps on 11 sec big block
thanks victtor

It looks like the stock OEM type pump, similiar to this AC Delco unit.

Not sure of the flow rating but I'd say it's much less than the hi-perf Holley mechanical pump free flow rating of 120GPH.

I wouldn't expect that pump to keep up with your engine, but if it does, that's good but suprises me.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge that you can see as you drive? If pressure is dropping below 3-4psi, according to Holley, it's not keeping up.

You need about 1/2# per hp per hour, so about 50 gpm would 'keep up'. I'll guess that the stock pump is rated quite a bit higher.

50gph in theory is correct, however, a safety factor of x2 is considered normal advice to overcome flow resistance and g-forces etc.. A pump closer to 100gph would be preferred in my book.:)

I had the similar OE pump and then the Holley street/strip pump (120gph) on my big block too, and it used to drop below 3psi in the top end with a 1/2 line.
