What should rechroming a bumper cost?

My rear bumper has a small dent. Would it be less expensive to fix or replace with a repop?

I have been quoted $250 - $300 for rechroming a bumper. I bought a repop for my front bumper for $99 and got what I paid for. The fit wasn't great (though I did get it on) and the chrome was just okay. In other words, for the money I had and for how ugly the original was, it was worth it, but in the long run I will have the original rechromed. If you have the extra $200, I would rechrome now.

Tri-city Plating, you won't be disappointed. I believe they charged me $200 each plus shipping. I supplied the cores.
