Anyone have some tech info on `69 Camaro steering gear boxes ? I need to swap out my manual to power. I have a big block now and is there a different one used for small blocks when converting to power ? My car is a coupe and formerly a 6 cylinder. The box that is on there nowhas a big "S" on it. Saginaw ? Will I need to change the pitman arm when converting to power steering ? Any and all info will be greatly appreaited thanks, Al. PS I have seen rebuilt gears boxes at the local swapmeets but I`m not sure on the exact fit.

All Camaros, in fact all GM cars thru the 80's used Saginaw worm and sector steering. They are all compatible though there are some differences.
