I had my truck repainted a year ago and I don’t think that the paint cured right it is very easy to chip and scratches very easily is there some thing that i can use to make it harder

Do you know what type of paint was used when it was repainted? Was it a base coat-clear coat? A little more information might help to determine the cause of the problem.

I tend to agree , a little more info would help however remember one thing.. Where you live http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif I just bought my BRAND NEW car in december and due to all the snow we got there is ALOT more sand and stones on our highways , needless to say I am paying my buddies shop a visit soon to get the tools to get my chips taken care of..

It doesn’t have a clear coat I think it was some cheep paint I got nailed by a lady and her insurance wouldn’t give the body shop any more than 3400$ there was over 4 grand in damages the insurants company wanted him to just spray bomb it so I paid the difference to get a decent paint job but it seamed that it never cured no idear on who made it i will go see the body shop monday
