How people actually buy parts off ebay? I have bought 2 sets of disc brakes conversation kits, rear quaters and mirrors. I have to say I have saved alot of money buying parts off there.

I look at Ebay every week for misc stuff. I have not bought anything big/high dollar. Just nickle/dime stuff. I have probably purchased 10 - 15 items on Ebay for my Camaro over the last 2 yrs.

I did buy my motor from a race shop that sells on Ebay. I got their info from the Ebay listing, but talked with them offline and bought one of the motors that they were listing, but modified a bit. The transaction was not through Ebay, so I was able to work out a better price.

I buy and sell almost everything there. eBay rules! Oh, except for the feedback system, it absolutely sucks!

I mostly sell, even have my own store. It's how I have funded my car project. I don't try to make huge dough, just try to make a little extra. I sell cheaper 'cause I buy cheaper.

When I do buy, it's usually not for my car, but to re-sell or totally unrelated.

There's plenty of deals out there to be had, expecially if you learn how to be efficient while looking. Everyone has thier own secret to being successful on ebay.

I have thought about it my self about selling items on ebay. I have tried to sell one item only to have it fail tho. I tried selling a trunk pan for the 67 and the guy tried filing a bad sellers complaint when he never send the money order. People today in this society.

I buy just about everything I need off Ebay. I mostly buy my parts from stores, but have bought from individuals also. I got shafted on a blower once for $600.00 but was able to recover. I use PayPal for everything.
