anyone know where to get a good quality clipnut for the torquebox?
ground up clipnuts look kinda weak and Im afaid they might break .

Look at the thread right above this one, there is a discussion there I just posted in. In short, I bought 6 grade 8 bolts and nuts, washers, and welded them into the floor. Of course, I had to cut access doors in the floor, and weld them closed afterwords. Worked fine.

I am also looking for these as the cheap ones keep stripping out when I tighten them down? I checked other message under pdq67 and could only find to use the cone type but yo weren't sure wear they came from?

I got mine from D&R, PN K00039.

They are on the bottom of page 297 in their 2005 e-cat that's on a disc.

I took the cheap cone looking ones and ground the cone right down flat , I then went down and purchased grade eight nits and Tig welded them in place .They hold great now .

Thanks for that link, I knew pulling those things out (the originals) I was shocked at what little metal held the suspension together. I can only imagine the repops, and am worried to see they are of even lesser quality. Yikes! I knew grade 8 was over-kill, but if I can sleep better at night simply by paying a few extra cents, its worth it.
