: rookie Question--any advantages/disadvantages of BC/CC versus SS 69 RS-Z Aug 8th, 04, 02:58 PM Hello all, I don't know very much about painting but wanted to know the advantages/disadvantages of a BC/CC verses SS. Thank you dawg Aug 8th, 04, 03:05 PM new 2 stage bc/cc is almost indestructable. I just did mine in urethane bc/cc looks like a 20 coat laquer job. clearcoat has teflon additives and UV additives. see the completed paint job on my post PAINTING IS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!. thats what a proper bc/cc job looks like even before wet sanding and buffing good thing about bc/cc is that you can sand out the imperfections on the BC then apply clear to the basecoat for an almost flawless finish. but be prepared to do some wet sanding for a paint job thatll pop ! 69 RS-Z Aug 9th, 04, 01:00 PM Your car looks awesome Dawg!
