I started cutting out the rotted trunk extensions in my vert. There was a lot degradation under the cocktail shakers, and it appears now that a reason ( not the only reason for rust ) is there is a support underneath the extension, I would suppose to beef up the pan where the cocktail shakers bolt to. Well this "under pan" is rusted somewhat and am thinking of replacing it, but I haven't seen it any catalogs? Any thoughts?

It's not offerred by anyone. It's not too difficult to fabricate. Mine were done from 1/4".
