Hi folks,
First time sending a post, although I've been reading them a lot since April. I own a 68 convertible that was all original with a 327, powerglide and the car just has 47,000 original miles. It still has the original shocks on the car, and std 4 wheel drum brakes. Red with black top and interior. I put in a new 350, 60 over last year, and had the powerglide rebuilt with a shift kit. I am currently researching suspension/brake kits, and wheel/tire combinations. Want to go pour-touring stance/performance. Plan on dropping in 700R4 and possibly going aluminum heads. This to be done by May/07, hopefully.
Love the site and all the feedback. Looking forward to being more involved, and chatting with some hardcore Camaro fans.

My name is Lance.

Hello Back from chicago, welcome, It is a great site with great people. Sounds like you found a nice car. Save all the old parts tho you may want to put it back to stock one day.

Hi ya Lance!

Just joined myself. Looks like we have some what similar Cams... what colour do ya have?

Have to let me know how you make out on the 700 swap that you have in mind... I threw in a 350 trans to replace the old "slush box" two speed... should have maybe waited for the 700?

Got some smaller parts, some NOS...if interested.

Summer's only 6 months away, here in the Great White North.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm located in Southern Ontario between Windsor and Toronto, south of Tillsonburg. I am saving all the parts I pull off just in case, ( no telling what the future holds ). I am pricing some smaller parts, ( door mirrors, tail light bezels, seatbelts ) . Someone tore the rear seatbelts out and put in Toyota's.
Still nice weather, hoping for another rip around the neighbourhood. Try to get some photos on soon before the work begins.

Cheers.
