I'm installing 68' axle bumpers on my 67' camaro and was wondering how to do it since I will have to make new holes in the frame.

So am I crazy for wanting to put these on a 67'.
Should I bring them back and get the 67' ones (which would be a lot less trouble).

It would be your choice on which bumper to chose.
The '67's would bolt in place to existing holes. Done! The '68's would need to be physically located, match mark the rails, drill the holes, and install rivnuts. Done.

a rivnut installs like a rivet, ya know with a gun, plier thing
but you only install it into the base metal and it has threads inside it so that you can bolt the bumpers to it
here look (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Category.taf?CategoryID=174&pricetype=)
but i dont understand why you want to change to a 68 axlw bumper...

thanks 400 bird,
I am starting to wonder why too. But I was told that they are a better design and wont crush your frame rails because they are mounted on the side. Although I don't think I will be going 4x4ing with the camaro lol.
