I have this mirror that is driving me crazy trying to figure out what it goes to. It is chrome on the exterior case and does not have day/night feature. It is 8" long and has a 11-DMI-5 date code on the glass. Any ideas...it looks familiar but I cant place the model its for.

Here is the mirror side. This thing is in super nice NOS condition and if it goes to something other than a Rambler etc. it needs to find a new owner.

The beautiful chrome 8" mirrors are Paragon Reproductions for 64-66 Corvette.
For $10 they date them any way you need.
The dead give away is how the glass fits.

Did Paragon date the glass? I'm sure it could be done and would like to consider that for some NOS mirrors I have that are'nt date correct.

Yes, Paragon will date the glass.
They do many kinds of mirrors now, Camaro included.
This is one of those rare cases, where the repros are actually much nicer then the originals -
which were sometimes not so nice.
Many of the originals had glass that was cut poorly, and the chrome - not always so good.

The Paragon repros are beautiful. :thumbsup:

This is not the case with stamped steel ones, just with these cast chrome jobs.

I would leave your originals alone - the date fonts they use are not "perfect"
Also the glass is installed differently on the repros, don't know if they are compatible.
