Im installing a shackle set on my Camaro and it seems that 2 of the four metal inserts are at least 3/16ths underside?
I cant push the bolt through?

Metal inserts? None of my Energy bushing had inserts in rear. The orginal front bushings did , but you throw that stuff away. Not usable when you get thru removing bushings. Mine was a 69..

the '68 energy suspension shackle bushings come with a metal sleeve that is inserted thru the bushing, the bushing is positioned and then the bolt is inserted.

Ok, thats where you got me,, I did not change shackles. I used my stockers and their bushings. I don't recall even seeing a sleeve in the kit. I found it,, I got the bushing only where you got the shakles kit.
