I'm thinking of converting my 67 to power steering.
I've read the links to use a 3rd gen box.
Iv'e also read a box with WS#'s would work.
Would a 79 WS6 TA box work or should I look
for an 80's version?

The 79 box is good with fairly stiff feel but it's 14 to 1, not 12.7 to 1 ratio. Still a good box if you have the long pitman arm and shortest outer arms. If you don't, the 12.7 would speed it up more.
