all i knoe is that the fuel sender is working but when i hit a corner someitmes it passes the full area and goes to the middle of the guage what could be the problem the ground for the tank is good

Make 100% sure the ground is good. Check the connections in the trunk, could they be loose? It may also be the beginning of a bad sending unit.

sounds like the sending unit is hanging up , but i would check the grouds before you drop the tank for the sending unit , good luck , chris:thumbsup:

What you're describing is a "loose connection" somewhere on the guages "sender input" It could be anywhere from the guage back, but is most likely the ground connection or the tan wire connection at the sender or the sender itself.
