Hey guys, I'm puzzeled on this one. When I switch my key to
ACC my horn relay buzzes, I can't seem to find out why. Can someone let me no of known problem. Thanks Mike

Starting in 68, all GM cars had a "key buzzer" circuit. Changes included a new ignition switch with a "key in sensor", a different drivers door courtesy light switch with 2 male 1/4" spade connections, and some different wiring.
If you download the wiring diagrams from the "electrical basics" sticky, you can see the schematic, pm me for the password.
Tests: close the drivers door, did it stop?
Take the key out, did it stop?
Remove the pink / bk stripe wire from the horn relay, it stopped this time.
On mine, the "key in sensor" in the ignition switch is bad, it buzzes anytime the door is open whether the key is in or not. I just left the pink wire disconnected at the horn relay, don't need the darned car buzzing at me anyway!

Hey Jim, With the key in, (door open or closed) the buzzer does not sound. it only sounds when I put or turn the key to ACC other than that, it does not buzz. Do you think I should just diconnect the pink black wire and move on. Thanks Mike

yes. Unless you like it buzzing at you if you forget the keys... (yea, like any of us are gonna forget our keys!!) just pull the pink wire.
