Dougs72Nova Nov 22nd, 06, 07:33 PM Number 3 video! Gotta love those rolling burnouts. That car makes good power! I miss those days of 40 mph burnouts in my big block 70 ls5 ss chevelle:(
Brackneyc Nov 22nd, 06, 11:31 PM I like number 3. How much power does it take to do that. Looked and sounded scary, in a good way. :)

baracda Nov 23rd, 06, 09:34 AM Here is a burnout when my car was new (to me). I had just finished the motor and was goofing around with it at the track trying to sort things out. Anyway, after the burnout my heart was in my throat and I could imagine all sorts of things I had done wrong but luckily it was just a loose clamp...

FunkyNova66 Nov 23rd, 06, 10:22 AM You don't need a big block to do a #3 burnout. Mine will do a rolling burn out on street tires at almost any speed with a small block 406. But then again...a 406 small block does run like a big block.;) It's the torque.:)
DOUG G Nov 23rd, 06, 08:26 PM Here's a buddy's Nova 477BB,sprayed,and singing...play back tach showed 8500rpm :D

DOUG G Nov 24th, 06, 05:12 PM Wait a minute... re-read the tag ???
TazJr800 Nov 24th, 06, 07:00 PM #3... very nice burn out... but wheres the traction? give or take I guess ! And the tags, that's my brother in laws RS/SS. See all the pics at my website in signature.
1969 Camaro Dude Nov 24th, 06, 07:28 PM #3 :hurray:
gumpyg40 Nov 24th, 06, 08:16 PM #2 Is Awesome...it Takes Skill To Do A Burnout @ That Speed.....a Skilled Driver!!
camaroman7d Nov 25th, 06, 06:20 AM To me #3 just shows a lack of traction sure it takes good power too. I think it was more a show of HP than torque, the car was already moving and once the tires are spinning it takes RPM's and HP to keep them spinning. Now if they were slicks or sticky tires, that would be a different story. I have to give it to the lady in #4 while I would never do that to my car is was a serious burn out.
All burnouts are nice to me.
