HEY GUYS. I'M INSTALLING MY NEW TRUNK PAN. I'VE RAN INTO A LITTLE TROUBLE.HERE GOES AT THE REAR OF THE TRUNK PAN AT THE HUMP WHERE THE GAS FILLER NECK IS THERE IS A BRACE LIKE A PEICE OF ANGLE THAT BRACES FROM THE TAIL PANEL TO THE FLOOR PAN AND IS CURVED TO THE HUMP.IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVING IT I MUTILATED IT I CAN'T FIND IT IN ANY PARTS CATALOGI NEED ONE BAD I THINK IT IS AN INNER BRACE FOR THE CENTER BUMPER BRACKET ANY IDEAS OR DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET ONE.THANKS GREG

I’ve been UPS'ed numerous parts that are not available as repro for my ’69 project from East West Auto Parts. It’s a salvage yard in Oklahoma. The parts are cut out of their cars and sent as is, so there is some prep that you have to do. Ron, at McHenry Classic Car Parts should be able to get this part. 815-363-7878 He had one for a friend who did the same thing. And has many used parts.

A couple of years ago I had Jeff Lilly replace my Trunk Pan liner. He did a most excellent job. In fact no one, I mean no one can ever tell it has been replaced. The process of the removal of the damaged liner to the final adjustment of the new liner is at this following url. Maybe somemthing you see on this page might help you out.
