I'm removing my front subframe to clean up
and also will be installing solid body mounts
once I get it all back together using the
.610 pins to align while torqueing bodymount
bolts is this all the alignment it will need
to get front subframe in correct position?
I'll be welding in framerail connectors so
I want to get it as straight as possible.
THANK YOU,
Jeff

It sure wouldn't hurt to cross measure it. It's free and will help insure the proper location.
Just choose a spot on the body that you are sure is in the same place on both sides. From that point, measure to the opposite side of the subframe, once again, in the exact same location on both sides. If the measurements are within 1/8", you are all set.

Using the alignment holes will get you close but since you are going to lock everything in by welding, you need to cross measure. It's the only way you will be true. Also, before welding, have the car put on an alignment machine to check the car for straightness.
