hi does anyone know what ohm sending units are used in 69 camaros
i bought a universal lever type 0 to 90 ohm unit as i have a small alluminum tank under my car i have the gm gauge for the fuel in the console the problem is when i hooked the sender up and left the lever and float down it read empty but when you raise it up to full the gauge only reads 1/4 tank on the gauge when you unhook the wire it goes to full

90 ohms is correct. Are you positive you got a 90, it doesn't sound like it.
Your tests show the guage seem to be working normally.
