I am repalcing the rear body panel on my 68 and I need the location for the reverse lights. The assembly manual does not give the dimensions. Any info will be appreciated, and I can't use the original that I had for a template. Was there a factory bracket available for the reverse lights for the backside of the panel? we will fab them if necessary, but I need a quality measurement for the location of the lights.

Send me an email with your address. I will make a copy of the pattern I have for the R/Lights and send it out to you.
Also try to find a sheetmetal shop that can punch them out for you, The guys at the Aircraft sheetmetal shop did a great job for me and even though my 68 is a true RS with the replacement panel installed I think the only ones that would be able to tell its not orginal are the folks that made the Orginal panels back in 67-69

Reverse lights are tricky. But no so much as you think. They are like a 1/2" to the outsid of your tail light center. I went throught the same thing. The best thing to do is to find someone with an original RS that has that original panel and do the best you can. There is no template I know of. But you may want to hold out and see if there is now.

If you purchased that template, You're infringing on someone's copyright by sending copies of that template.

Somebody does make a living off of making those things, all they do is make templates for 1st gen Camaros. They have gone to a lot of effort to provide a high quality, much needed product.

And you think it's funny to steal from them?
Tell me where you live and I'll come take parts off your car. It's all fair game, right?
