Is anyone making a stock reproduction tach for a 69 that is designed to work with HEI ? Why not ? This would seem to be a natural, rather than hoping the ones available will work with filters. There must be a lot of demand out there for 67,68 and 69's.

Thew repro tachs will work fine with an HEI, tho sometimes a Tach Filter is required. There is an article in the electrical basics sticky on how to build one.

Like Jim says, all the OER tachs work fine with HEI. It's your stock one that won't. I have 2 in both my 69's and they work fine. At this time, no filter is required.

Does that work for the 1 wire breakerless conversion in a stock points distributor too ??:confused:
