After almost five months of slow...slow..slow progress the metal work on my 69 will begin and end soon. I last updated with the story about the extremely generous man helping me to complete my Camaro. Since then, we have accumulated another 69 X44 body and stripped it down. It is still nothing to write columns about but is alot better than the original body. Now this afternoon if the rain clears, or tomorrow if it does not, the media blasted body is off to Southington for new panels all around. Partial floors, partial trunk, partial 1/4's, door skins, cowl, header, and fenders. The car is due back for paint at the beginning of June. I had asked for paint and body to be done by June 7th and we will be cutting it real close. Yet, the day is not important, the completion is important.
I will keep you update more regularly the next few weeks.
