i have a 89 camaro rs with a 2.8 v6. the ignition key has to be in the run pos. then i have to press a button to turn the engine to start. wires connected with metal and shorted something out. no fuses blown. headlights, int. lights , power door locks work. no power to ignition, radio, heater, ac all not working now. cant get car to even get power to start when key is in on position, no power . please help

Check fusible links at starter solenoid stud. They do tend to age and separate internally.
