I am in the market for a new truck since the kids are getting older. I currently have a 96 dakota XLT that is in great shape. My paint guy is also in the market for a pickup. I will trade him my pickup in exchange for him to strip, bodywork, prime and paint my 67. I of course will buy the paint. The rest is on him.

Guess it all depends on the quality of work. I guess if you know each other well, it may work out.

I would trade you too for that deal.:) Hell, I will do it for a couple of cases of beer, but I dont' think you would like my results. My point being, if he thinks your truck is worth $2000, will you get a $2000 paint job? If he thinks your truck is worth $10,000, will you get a $10,000 paint job?
