Just got a new gun today and to say it sprays nice is an understatement !!!! I've been flirting with painting a friends 71 chevelle wagon for a week already and as we all know wagons are BIG, real BIG. My local jobber has been bragging about the new SATA 3000's, so for $470 i decided to give it a whirl....... on the wagon !!!! I have to say it uses about a 1/3 less paint than my SATA digital 2000 and even sprays nicer to boot !!! If anyone out there is looking to paint their own car for the first time this gun is for you. It may be a little pricey, but the results will be well worth it. It will even make a novice look good !!! I still cant believe how little paint it uses....... and how wide the fan is....... and how good it looks........and that i bought another spraygun when i have 5 more perfectly good SATA jets hanging on the wall :clonk:

I bought mine from my local jobber. His prices are always very fair. I still cant stop raving about that darn gun. I painted a cowl hood yesterday used 1/2 as much base/clear as i usually would. Its absolutely fascinating :beers:
A gun like this in a production shop would pay for itself in less than a month

Is this a bleeder or non bleeder? WHat are your thoughts on the differecnces? I just bought a American Turbine that has a awesome spray pattern w a nice wide fan, was using a old wagner before.
