I have a set bb heads, casting #3964291. Confused about the date codes because they aren,t the same dates. One has code of F 13 72, and the other is coded B 5 71. Anyone know why the dates would be that far apart, or maybe i,m looking at the wrong #,s. Thanx.

One head could have been replaced at a later date. Not that odd at all.

One head also has a1T stamped on it and the other is 4T. Anyone know what these mean?

If they're raised (not stamped), they're probably foundry pattern numbers. :thumbsup:
