Mud Rat Dec 14th, 06, 11:26 PM Check this out: http://www.camaros.org/exterior.shtml#ColorPercentages I would like to see the numbers for exterior with there interior colors. Mud Rat Dec 14th, 06, 11:30 PM yeah i also have a friend thats got a plum convertible with gold interior, KINDA FUNKY combo ascamaro I would love to see what that looks like do you think you can get me a bunch of pics. Mine was Madeira Maroon with gold but someone redid it red and black. I think that could help give me an idea what mine mite look like if I take it back that way. Thanks Bob ascamaro Dec 15th, 06, 06:34 AM Mud Rat it may be a while before i can get some pics, the car is under total restoration right now. the other problem is that the car is in alabama and i'm in florida. but as soon as i get some pics i'll post them for you. Kurt S Dec 15th, 06, 02:24 PM I would like to see the numbers for exterior with there interior colors. I'm not sure what you're asking. You'd like to see the whole table broken down into ext color and int color? That would be so complicated it would be unreadable. And it would be a lot of work and the #'s wouldn't be very dependable. If you want just Royal Plum, I can do that. Mud Rat Dec 16th, 06, 01:48 AM Kurt There is a list of ColorPercentages but add that to the interior colors like Madeira Maroon with red Madeira Maroon with black Madeira Maroon with gold and so on for all colors. My car was maroon with gold do we know the Percentages of that combo. Does that help? Mud Rat Dec 16th, 06, 01:56 AM Mud Rat it may be a while before i can get some pics, the car is under total restoration right now. the other problem is that the car is in alabama and i'm in florida. but as soon as i get some pics i'll post them for you. Thats fine thanks Kurt S Dec 16th, 06, 08:08 PM Like I said, that's not about to happen. It takes a whole lot of work to generate that table as it is. Just in 67 only, there are 17 different interiors. Plus 16 ext colors. That's 272 different possible combinations (not all were used) just for 67. The headrest codes double the possible interior codes (760-Z vs 760-Y) so there are really even more possible combinations. As it is, there is **nowhere** else in the world that you'll find color estimates like this. GM didn't keep records. From the database, for Royal Plum: 75% are black interiors (760, 765, & 767) 24% are white (797) 1% are gold (711) Note that the db is not a random sampling. Just in this thread, there are 2 gold interior cars mentioned. Including those 2 cars in the estimate doubles the gold interior % to 2%. Mud Rat Dec 17th, 06, 01:05 AM Thanks kur. I saw a large list somewhere I just dont know where it was just wondering what my chances are of finding pics with my cars colors to see if I want to take it back to the way it came. Thanks again Bob |
