The add said it was from a '66 Nova. Can you tell me the specs? Is it a 8.5 or 8.2 etc.....

A 62-67 Nova rear is narrower than the 68-79 rear. Based on the above chart:

A = 43 1/2"
B = 50 3/4"
C = 57 3/4"

If this rear end was indeed in a 62-67 Nova it is not the original rear end.

This cover look different than the ones above?

You can use either cover on either rear. The difference will be the lugs as pointed out by red arrows in the pics.

Looks like an 8.2" Camaro rear to me.

See if the seller will scrape the gunk off of the front of the passenger side axle tube and look for the stamped code on it. If he\she uses some good degreaser and a ScotchBrite pad, they might find the code. There's a picture of what to look for on The Camaro Research Groups link I posted.
