I have a few questions on what and how go about these things that I want to do to my 69.

One it is a plain hard top, but would like to have a vinyl top. how nasty is it to install the the modings?? I was planing on a shop to top the actual top.

How hard is it once I get over the cost to switch from standard headlights to hide aways??

Do the front upper and lower valances bolt on?? I will probably have a local body shop do the rear valance.

i'am guessing here just a tad but i think i would be pretty close in saying you are probably talking in the neighborhood of 2500.00. by the time you buy the hideaway conversion 999.00 and pay to have the vinyl top installed you will be getting close,and we're assuming you install the hideaways yourself.now as far as the rs back-up lights you just need to cut a hole in the back panel. THANKS to camaro heaven here i cut mine testerday when i did a search and found the measurements.hope this gives you some idea.

Im sorry, I must have been I unclear. I am more concern on what I have to do and how hard it is to install a vinyl top on a 69 that does not have one on it, specifically the installing the moldings. And how hard it is to convert to hide away headlights.

As for the rear valance, is it a bad thing to cut it out and replace it or is it somthing that I should attempt myself??
