I am restoring my 69'. It has a powerglide right now but I would like to put in a four speed if it is not too much trouble. I also would like to finish the car as soon as I can. What do you guys know about this swap? What kind of four speed would you recommend? What is the best way to get a hold of the parts needed to make the swap possible? How much might a kit cost me? How much would a transmission cost me? Any input you might have is great. I have other issues too with brakes and such but that is for later.
Thank You!

if yer doing, doit right, I second CC5S and a TKO 5 speed!
That said, I swapped my powerglide for an M20 years ago, it is a direct boltin, no car mods needs, everything fits, you just gotta collect the parts.
The TKO is just as easy, plus you get the whole kit in one box.
