I am going to be putting in my Jegs universal radiator soon and need to fab up some brackets. I was hoping to find some 1.5" x 3" x 1/8" thick angle stock to make the brackets just like the stock one but I can't get anything that thin with 3" width except some rectangular tubing that I could cut diagonally to make 2 pieces of that size angle. Is this the best plan? I would like to see how others have installed these. I will also need to fabricate an aluminum fan shroud, any tips or patterns here? I am hoping to have a friend do whatever TIG welding I need as I only have a MIG.

Thanks!

Unless you all ready bought it, the summit house brand rad is application specific and has the right brackets for around three hundred clams

Yes I have already bought it. I didn't think the brackets were worth $120. I have heard issues with fit on the other ones as well. I prefer to drill my own brackets and get it in right.

What about shrouds? I have seen some people here who have AL custom shrouds.
