I will be pulling the Tk0600 again, sometime in the future and all I have is standard floor jack and tall jack stands. I have done this about 5 or 6 times but this is getting old working on the floor , wrestling this fish.

Does anyone have Tremac specific jack for this? My other option was to try and make a jack adapter plate to bolt to the lower case bolts and make some type of jig to weld a large pin to it , to drop in the jack rotating base hole.

Anybody done this?

Don, the second time I had mine out and in, I rented a trans jack, the type used for automatics. The adjustable arms held the TKO nicely, and the tilt/pivot screw adjusters were wonderful for lining up the inputshaft prior to stab.

Only downside was the trans on the jack is too tall to come out from under the car. Wasn't a problem for me as I was just doing clutch work, just roilled her back in the tunnel outa the way.

Why you pullin the trans Don?

Yearly maintenance thing I got on my mind, just to check stuff again. , it wont be anytime soon. Used to be a weekend thing while racing but that has desolved . I think I will plan for the 07' Power Tour.

As for the lift thing, yes would be nice but then I still need a tall trans jack.
And as you said Jim, the trans floor jack is too tall to get under the car jacked up some 30" . You really need to have some good stable jacks to get car up that high. I saw some mini floor lifts that do give you some 40'' space under them. May consider that, sometime.
I was thinking on fabricating some type of cradle support that also attaches trans to the two lower case bolts then fit in a 1 3/8 solid pin to bottom . The pin will fit the swivel on the low profile race jack. Still got to find a roundtoit first.
