I am looking at another car (for later restoration). It is an RS/SS with a 350, X11 code. I know that an RS with an X11 code can easily be disguised as an RS/SS. How can you tell if it is a TRUE RS/SS? Interior is standard and it has a 10 bolt rear end (said it was replaced). Has a cowl induction hood as well. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Without the original motor, all you can do is look for clues. Big one would be the reinforcement plate on the driver side tailpipe hanger. It's at about 1 O'Clock in the wheelwell, on the frame rail.
