They look really nice. However dont you think that that price is a little out of line? what do you think there markup is? I for one would never spring for those but each to their own.

Super smooth operation, adustable opened angle.

And with the struts to help lift, all you have to do is pull the latch.

Just recently put those on the 69:

Those ones look great too! Same price as the DSE's. My stock ones are just spray painted black with the original springs. They're a little saggy, I worry sometimes when i'm working under the hood that it'll come down and bonk me in the head. I will have these someday, along with those sweet Marquez Design Billet Tail Light Bezels. :beers:

I have a set! They are very nice and they look much better than the pics can convey. Any particular questions you have about them??

Did you ever get them installed Rod? The link I posted above was you talking about them.

I mainly just wanted to see how many people out there dropped the dough for em. For the price I didn't expect many, but I know i'll get em once i'm done with my interior.

Is the top bracket the same size as the stock one? I ask in terms of lining up the hood. And they look like you can adjust the lower part of it up & down, right. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes I did, but since then I have removed the engine, trans and front since I am pulling the sub.

The short time I did have them on they looked incredible and everyone who saw them really liked them.

They are quite adjustable. The top bracket is quite a bit thicker than stock and you do not have as much lateral, side to side, play to line up the hood bolts. Also when you mount the hinge to the front fender, slowly collapse the hinge, shut position, and ensure sure you have enough clearance between the hinge and body. Initially mine touched.
