What is the best, most informative "Factory Assembly Manual" that you guys have run across and where can I get one. The assy manual I have is susposedly an AIM manual, but it seems to be missing a lot. Such as, there isn't a section at all that covers door window glass removal/inst.
Thanks,
Jerry

Well, the AIM only covers what the Chevrolet plant guys had to install. The glass was installed by Fisher Body. Read the Assembly Process sticky at the top of the Body Shop forum; it explains better than I can.

The Fisher Body Manual for a particular model year will cover the glass removal, install, and adjustment. Difficulty is that the FBM covers all the models for that year, so you have to wade through it for the F-car info.

There is also a Chassis Service Manual and Chassis Overhaul Manual that cover repairs/service conducted on the car and out of the car, respectively, for various systems and components.

Many of us have (and use heavily) the AIM, FBM, CSM, and COM for our cars.
