Hi All, had a quick question. I do not know what year my 700r4 is and I need a new converter. They come 27 and 30 spline. Anyway On the input shaft of the trans there are 2 sets of splines a bigger and a smaller. Which set of splines do I count. I am under the car so It is a little hard. on first count I think the larger set is 27 and the smaller is 30...should they be the same?

No they shouldn't be the same. The larger is stator support which goes into the sprag in the converter and the smaller shaft is the input shaft that goes into the lower turbine, that's the one you need to count.
